Bikini Club Wedding Videographer
Ah, love. There is no greater challenge nor greater reward in life.
When Leonardo, a Neapolitan man, moved abroad to follow his dreams, he left a piece of his heart back home. As he went on, he conquered milestone after milestone in his work and his personal life. The most important? Teresa’s love. And, as Petrarca famously said, “Amor con amor si paga”, or “Love with Love is paid”.
We have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to peek into a day of Leonardo and Teresa’s life. The biggest one. The two lovebirds have been through thick and thin together, and when the time came to choose where they wanted to celebrate their wedding, there wasn’t a hint of doubt. “It must be Italy”, they said. A long awaited homecoming for Leo, and the Italian destination wedding of their dreams.
In his famous song “That’s Amore”, Dean Martin sang that in Napoli, love is king, and this definitely applies to its surroundings, Leonardo had chosen Sorrento as the venue for their Italian wedding. He and his wife-to-be got ready in their suites at Hotel Parco dei Principi, the world-renowned and exclusive 5-star building overlooking the sea. Surrounded by 3 hectares of a stunning park and with facilities such as a salt water pool, a private beach and a fitness centre, the hotel was designed by none other than Gio Ponti, the visionary Italian architect and designer. It goes without saying that the gardens were the chosen setting for filming Teresa and Leonardo before the ceremony.
The party moved to Vico Equense, more specifically the Bikini Club, where they all had a lovely time and enjoyed the spectacular view of the shimmering sea.
Teresa and Leonardo opted for a civil ceremony, a touching and intimate moment they shared not only with each other, but with their loved ones as well. Guests both Italian and foreign watched as the newlyweds exchanged heartfelt vows of everlasting love and happiness. As they say, a picture paints a thousand words, so imagine what a film can do. As Italian destination wedding videographers, we at Studio D’Essai specialise in shooting weddings as if we were filming a documentary. A wedding is made out of little moments as well as big ones, and we try to capture the essence of who the couples, and this results in honest and moving wedding films.
After the aperitif, it was time to dance on the notes of a notorious Tuscan band, the silky voice of the singer, the melody, the beautiful sound of the Italian language… Everyone was in Heaven, the atmosphere was perfect.
You know, it’s people like Leonardo and Teresa that make us believe in happy endings. And if there’s one thing that we’ve learned from them, is that love, in each and all its forms, is always a joy to celebrate.
