Torre La Cerniola Wedding Videographer
In Italy we have a saying that goes: “sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata”, for we believe that a bit of drizzle on a wedding day is good luck. As screenwriters, Alessandro Fabbri and Laura Colella surely appreciated the poetry of it. With the waves crashing on the shores and the silver clouds in the sky, it felt as if we were transported to the setting of an epic film.
Like many couples in love, they opted for a wedding on the Amalfi Coast, the gem of the south. Especially in a venue such as Torre La Cerniola, in the Borgo of Erchie, where preparations started early. The bride got ready in her suite with a view on the evocative coastal cliffs, helped by her make-up artist, her bridesmaids and, of course, her mother. her wedding dress, as white as a dove, embraced her in a light that enhanced her natural beauty.
The future husband opted for a classic yet timeless blue two-piece suit and a tie. The two lovebirds had nothing to envy to movie stars. They looked stunning.
As real connoisseurs, they wanted an équipe of experts, with knowledge and passion to shoot their wedding film. We of Studio D’Essai are Italian wedding videographers and photographers who always strive for the best.
We have been working in the field for more than 15 years, and we always cherish an opportunity to test ourselves. We had anticipated the forces of the elements and had used the light to make a wonderful and atmospheric wedding reportage.
The civil rite was held in the tower, where bride and groom swore eternal love surrounded by their close ones. The elegance of tradition and the thrills of a modern Italian wedding left everyone moved to tears. Afterwards, they all went outside where they enjoyed a sundowner from the comfort of the terrace overlooking the sea. As you probably know, the power couple penned the smash-hit Italian adaptation of “In Treatment” and the miniseries “1993”, starring Miriam Leone. The former miss Italia was present, among the many other stars, to bid Alessandro and Laura the best of luck for their future life.
Then, it was time to go wild on the dancefloor. The fun they had was almost palpable, and it was a privilege for us to capture all those happy people jumping around and cheering the first dance of the newlyweds. Dinner was also served on the terrace, consisting of a plethora of delicious southern dishes and an incredible selection of wines from the region. It was a feast for the senses, as music, food, the spectacular views of Torre La Cerniola and its surroundings both amazed and entertained the guests for a night to remember. The traditional cut of the wedding cake was just the prelude to many other dances and speeches that made the evening sky blush with joy. And all the while, Laura and Alessandro were not able to stop looking and smiling at each other.
It was the triumph of love. The future has many surprises and successes in store for the newlyweds. After the successful collaborations with Italian filmmaker Gabriele Salvatores and actors such as Vittoria Puccini and Stefano Accorsi, they are now working on a project for Netflix, but we have a feeling that their favourite work of art will always be the day of their wedding on the Amalfi Coast.
