Villa Cimbrone Wedding Videographer
Some stories leave marks to remember. Some other, echo through eternity. They hold a special place in our hearts. Christopher and Yolanda Masterson know it well. As actors, they understand how important it is to tell a story and tell it right. Studio D’Essai took on this challenge for them.
This is a Hollywood fairytale.
More and more celebrities come to Ravello to get married. The small town makes for an unforgettable setting and has a long tradition of artists from everywhere, like Tennessee Williams or Richard Wagner. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ravello has that unique atmosphere and breathtaking beauty that made Chris and Yolanda fall head over heels.
The elated couple made the best of the their days in Italy. They visited the Amalfi Coast and enjoyed the beauties the South has to offer. When the big day finally came, they were rested and happy, but Ravello had another couple of surprises in store for them.
Early afternoon preparations in separate suites of the historic Villa Cimbrone. Yolanda’s natural beauty was enhanced by her whole wedding look. She picked a romantic gown, which seemed to be made of pure light. The alabaster fabric delightfully complemented the amber undertones of her complexion, and the simplicity of the silhouette accentuated her thin waist. The form-fitting strapless bustier was closed up on her back by a line of small buttons, a dainty detail that added a classy touch to the outfit, but the real protagonist of the gown was the lace: a subtle floral motif entirely covered the dress, from its heart shaped neckline down to the end of its majestic train. This incredible fabric seemed to have the ability to trap the rays of the morning sun and surround the bride with a warm, soft gleam. The shape of the dress, with its tight waist and a-line skirt, reminded of a calla, a pure white flower that in the Italian tradition symbolises the joyful bride opening up to the beginning of a new life. Yolanda opted for a light, barely-there makeup, which lent her a natural glow that truly did justice to her bliss. Her dark locks tumbled down in soft, shiny curls, over her naked shoulders and down her back. When she walked down the aisle in the luxuriant garden, Chris could not break his gaze.
The fountain, the arches, the flowers and the branching trees made them feel like they were in a dimension where love conquers all. Bespoke Wedding Planners went the extra mile for this destination wedding in Ravello.
Chris also chose a total white look to go with the country chic mood of the wedding, with the only touch of colour being a brown tie which nicely complemented his natural auburn hair colour. He chose a cream suit, with a classy contrasting shirt in a cooler shade of white. The look was completed by an exquisite detail, a small yet elegant boutonniere which recalled the lace of his bride’s gown. They shed a tear or two when they promised each other eternal love and support, and walked together hand in hand towards their beloved families and friends.
A day of shining stars, in every sense of the world. Chris had his big break in 1997 playing Scotty in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” with Julia Roberts, and rose to fame with his hilarious portrayal of Francis in the world famous TV series “Malcolm in the Middle”. His wife, Yolanda, was in famous productions such and as “The Ugly Truth” and “iZombie”. Danny Masterson, Chris’ brother, was one of the protagonists of “That’s 70s Show”. Oscar winner Casey Affleck was also present with his partner.
Aperitif in the Giardino delle due O as the guests relaxed with some good music and a prosecco as bride and groom took a walk on the Infinity Terrace. With a view so incredible, surrounded by harmony, friends and love, Chris and Yolanda were still the centre of the scenery. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is the case, then a video must be worth a complete story, and wedding videographers and photographers of Studio D’Essai went the whole nine yards for them.
Dinner in the Garden of the 2 Fountains, where white table cloths and white chairs awaited the guests. A smaller table was placed in the center for the protagonists of the night. As the sun was setting, there came time for the cut of the giant cake covered in berries.
The DJ set the mood for Yolanda and Chris’ first dance under the gaze of the stars. The couples shared an intense moment of chemistry and love, knowing that there are many miles they’re yet to go. That was only the first step in the lifelong journey that started in Ravello. The guests joined them on the dance floor to celebrate their union, and their joy lit up the night sky.
