Lido del Faro Wedding Videographer
When Angelo met Anna he just knew he would follow her wherever. Their adventures tethered their lives together as their love kept growing and growing. When they decided to start a new, exciting chapter, the betrothed couple chose the lavish landscapes of Capri for their most special day.
The marvelous island, situated right in front of the Sorrento Peninsula, offers a breathtaking scenery with the crystal clear water of the Tyrrhenian sea all around it, the magic submarine caves, its alleys sprinkled with quiant workshops, and the famous Faraglioni. Anna and Angelo chose the Hotel La Residenza, a top choice for such elegant weddings. Just a few steps away from the Piazzetta, the Hotel is surrounded by the Thirteenth-century wall of the Certosa di San Giacomo and an emerald garden with an incredible view of the Gulf of Naples.
Afternoon preparations in different rooms for groom and bride, as the guests converged on the island for the celebration. Anna wore a mermaid silhouette wedding dress by Berta Bridal and white Jimmy Choo heels. The gown, with an illusion neckline, was made of two superposed fabrics: a silky slip in peachy tones and an outer layer made of light lace, beautifully embroidered with a sylvan motif that ran through the fitted bodice down to the impalpable skirt. The classy wedding look was completed by a long, weightless veil, applied over the bride’s updo, and by a pair of white sunglasses, a quirky detail that reminds us of the glamorous Hollywood divas who used to spend their holidays in Capri during the 50s. They were both immortalised with their parents and closest friends by the wedding videographers of Studio D’Essai, that captured the intimate and touching atmosphere of the thrilling moments that precede such a big step.
After a short walk through the intricate alleys of the island, Anna and her father reached the Lido del Faro in a characteristic white and blu vintage taxi, enjoying the ride and seizing the chance to admire the dazzling views the island has to offer. Friends and family were jokingly offered a “survival kit” that included bug repellent spray, fans and sunshades to battle the warm weather typical of Southern Italy.
People were left breathless as the bride made her way down the aisle holding a bouquet of roses of different shades, on the notes of “Grande Amore”, sung by the band Quisisona. They wrote the song for Il Volo, the Italian operatic trio that won the Sanremo Music Festival 2015 with it. She walked over a carpet coated with white and purple petals from the same flowers that composed her bouquet. Wedding planners of Caprimoments truly aimed for the stars, and the result is unbelievable. After the humanist ceremony, they all enjoyed a poolside aperitif before sitting down at the Imperial Table for a glamorous dinner.
Lido del Faro is named after the lighthouse of Punta Carena the overlooks the rocks and the shores. Considered by many the most beautiful place of the island, the Lido towers over the majestic Faraglioni. A delightful venue for a romantic destination wedding. Hearts could not help but melt, watching Anna and Angelo looking at each other when they cut the cake, finely decorated with a cake topper that announces to the world their “Unico Grande Amore”. The night ended on a high note, with the music of Quisisona and the new couple going crazy with friends and families on the dancefloor, and there was even a shoemaker who crafted a pair of Capri sandals on the spot for every guest! One thing is certain: it was a day of happiness and fun in the name of the One True Love that Anna and Angelo share.
